PIPSpro upgrades

This document includes information up to version 3.2.4a

This document is intended only for use by registered users of PIPSpro. While it is believed that the information is correct, SeeDOS Ltd cannot take any responsibility for unintended errors or omissions.

Since PIPSpro was first released in January 1998, numerous changes and additions have been made and new versions released. This document describes very briefly the more significant changes and the release dates of each new version. If you are using an older version of PIPSpro, you can check which changes have been introduced since your version was released. The cost of an upgrade to the latest version is significant, both financially and in terms of the time and effort required to learn the new features. It is suggested that you consider very carefully whether an upgrade would be beneficial by asking yourself the following questions:

1. Is an upgrade essential? Are there any capabilities in the latest version that are not available in your current version, and which are essential to your continued use of PIPSpro?
2. Is the upgrade desirable? Does the latest version have less bugs or problems, improved features, or increased ease of use, which would be desirable but may not be essential?
3. Is an upgrade at this time inappropriate? If the new features in the latest version will not be used, then the time, cost, and effort of installing and learning a new version may not be justified.

If you decide that an upgrade is required, please contact your supplier for a quotation. You can purchase a licence just for the upgrade to the latest version without any additional modules. The upgrade will then be licensed for the same optional modules that you have in your old version. If you wish, you can add one or more optional modules at the same time as the upgrade.
