Brachytherapy

SeeDOS offers an array of stabilizers to exceed the requirements of a quality HDR or LDR Brachytherapy procedure.  SeeDOS Stabilizers provide 6 degrees of freedom movement of our exclusive line of steppers including X, Y, and Z axis plus pitch, yaw, and roll.  Historically, this ability to manipulate the probe in vivo in multiple axes has proven to greatly improve the opportunity for an ideal HDR or LDR treatment.  It also provides 3 mounting configurations to allow a rapid attachment to most styles of surgical and procedural tables. 

  •  Freehand Manipulation - Allows practitioners to manipulate the transducer and lock instantly in any desirable position.
     
  •  Independent Micro-Adjustment - Adjustments can be made in every plane and axis to attain an ideal orientation and starting base position.

Classic Stepper

The Classic Stepper is a lightweight precision stepping device capable of fitting a host of ultrasound manufacturers transducers. Its module design is adaptable to a variety of template guided procedures including: Cryotherapy, Fiducial Marker Placement, Mapping Biopsy, Saturation Biopsy, Targeted Biopsy and Volume Studies. The Classic Stepper features a secure centreline detent with 60 degree angular rotation both counter and clockwise. Also, easy-to-read marking scales are aligned on either side.

EX3 Stepper

For use with Aloka UST-672 5/7.5, BK 8848, 8558, 8658, GE ERB, Hitachi EUP-U533, Siemens Endo-PII and Terason 8B4S
The EX3 Stepper’s modular design reports angular and linear position directly to the manufacturer’s treatment planning software intraoperatively. Through direct communication, the stepper offers rapid connection for data analysis and reduces clutter in the surgical suite. The unique design of the EX3 also features a removable electronic unit which mitigates the risk of damaging transmission components and reduces cleaning time after the procedure.

Latex-Free Endocavity Balloon

For use with Aloka UST-672, BK Medical 8848/8558/8658, GE Heathcare ERB, Hitachi EUP-U533 and Siemens Endo-P II transducers
The Endocavity Balloon was designed to provide a snug fit to endocavity transducers, providing a small insertion profile to minimize patient discomfort. The balloon features adjustable inflation control to maximize user control over prostate shape and height, speed set-up and allow gland positioning to an optimal focal length to enhance the ultrasound image.

Disposable Template Grids

Disposable template grids are for use during brachytherapy and 3D pathologic mapping of the prostate. Template grids consist of rows and columns of holes spaced 5mm apart, providing accurate placement of radioactive seeds in predefined areas of the prostate.
