SeeDOS introduces the truly innovative, light-weight Tissue Mimicking Compression Test Tool, SeeDOS Code 92200 (Model M200). Unlike a bathroom scale, which is commonly used, Model M200 is designed specifically for mammographic compression measurements and has many advantages:

More Realistic: This device is made of foam rubber which provides a more realistic test of compression of breast tissue. Since final compression is usually provided by hand, it is important for the technologist to develop a "feel" for how much pressure they are applying. For this application Model M200 is a useful teaching device in addition to a QC tool.

Dual Readout: In addition to the standard read-out in pounds of compression, Model M200 simultaneously indicates the millimeters of compression.

Sensitive to Non-uniformity: Model M200 is sensitive to, and shows any imbalance of the compression apparatus. Separate foam blocks reveal tilt or non-uniformity of pressure.

Small and Light Weight: Model M200 easily fits into a pocket. The all plastic construction will not scratch or harm the compression paddle or tray.
